Throttle Me (Men of Inked #1) by Chelle Bliss

I had really liked the synopsis of Throttle Me. It's what captured my attention and made me want to read the book. It seemed like it was going to be a good book and while there were parts I liked about the book, I felt like the synopsis was a little misleading. Throttle Me was more about two people meeting and they see how many times, how many ways and how many different places can they have sex before the end of the book. It had no build up or anything. It didn't seem like a story to me. It was in both Suzy's and City's POV and for once I didn't like it. I was reading two different people's thoughts but it felt like they were the same person.

Suzy is a shy, quiet, boring, book nerd, good girl with naughty thoughts. She wanted someone like City (stupid nickname, I know). He was rough, tattooed, biker and turned her on like no one else ever had. When City did take notice of her, she kept asking herself why her and blowing him off. She kept wanting a lawyer or someone like her - boring but the boring guy just didn't do it for her. She had this checklist of what she wanted her future to look like and City wasn't it. She was too in her head. She over thought and over analyzed everything.

City it seemed like he had to get Suzy drunk just to get her to lighten up some. Everytime they went out he was basically forcing a drink in her hands. He said she was more fun when she was tipsy. He was against drinking and driving though, since he lost his high school sweetheart to a drunk driving accident years before. Which for some reason screwed him up. He also had to use sex against her for her to agree to go a date with him or even see him. He would remind her of how they felt together during sex and talk dirty to her and then ask her out. When City was around Suzy, he made her feel special but when he was around his family, she was just some girl. nothing special. He was confusing.
