Tied (Tangled #4) by Emma Chase

Tied was a great conclusion to Drew and Kate's story. I didn't really see a point in the book since it didn't really have a plot. Tied is told from Drew's POV. It has the same great characters all the other books in the Tangled series have. I love Drew and his thoughts. The Tangled Series was the first set of books I ever read in a man's POV and I absolutely loved them. I think I am going to miss Drew and his bizarre thoughts a little. He is like no other guy I have ever read about. 

Drew is still the same guy. Kate is still the same girl. They have been through everything as a couple and are finally getting married. Tied is about the bachelor/bachelorette parties in Las Vegas. There isn't a big climax or problem the couple faces. It just about one night the couple went out separately and had some much needed fun before their big day.

Drew knows Kate is the love of his life and he can't wait to marry her. He doesn't want anyone else. The only thing that the couple sort of dealt with was the morning after the parties. Drew can't find Kate and he thinks he made a huge mistake that Kate isn't going to forgive him for but that's cleared up within 5 pages. There is a little bit of steamy sex but it's a little low. The other books in the series had more.

I love Steven and Alexandra and I wish there was a book on how those 2 came about. I love them as a couple and as individuals. The other secondary characters are great too but Steven and Alexandra are my favorite. I think my favorite part in Tied was Drew trying to change Matt's and Dee's baby's name. I thought it was funny and just like something he would do.

Tamed (Tangled #3) by Emma Chase

Tamed is the third book in the Tangled Series and is now one of my favorite books. I absolutely fell in love with Matthew. Tamed is told from his perceptive and is during the exact time Tangled was happening. Emma Chase knows how to write a book from a male's POV. And it's funny and it's exactly the way I think a guy would think.

Tamed pick up with Matthew being depressed about his and Dee-Dee's relationship. It then takes us back 4 weeks to when Matthew first met Dee. The moment he met Dee-Dee, he was in lust with her. She was different and wanted her. But instead of asking Dee-Dee for her number, he asked Kate for it. He calls her that night and they start their fun relationship. 

Dee-Dee doesn't want a relationship. She just wants fun and Matthew is all for that. Until he's not. He falls for Dee-Dee quick and wants more. They hang out a lot and sleep together a lot. Dee-Dee thinks everything is moving too fast and makes a run for it in the middle of the night. She wants space and Matthew gives it to her. After a couple of days Matthew goes to her. Well more likes stalks her and they get back together.

Dee-Dee has a messed up past. She has a bad habit of falling for the wrong guys and getting hurt. She doesn't want to do the same with Matthew. Matthew to also has a bad habit of falling for the wrong girl. His college girlfriend was only with him for some stupid reason and cheated on him the whole time. He is over her and what happen but he hasn't falling for another girl until Dee-Dee. The college girlfriend does make an appearance in the book and almost messes up Matthew's relationship with Dee-Dee, but Dee-Dee ends up believing him. I don't know how she did though cause the situation looked sounded pretty messed up and I wouldn't have believed it.

Dee-Dee and Matthew end up having a serious argument about Drew and Kate's relationship and they end things. Matthew is miserable. Dee-Dee is miserable. They shouldn't have let there friends come between them but they did. Dee-Dee does come to her senses and goes back to Matthew.

I loved Matthew. Drew was my favorite in the series until Matthew. He seems real. He is funny, smart, loves sex, super hot and drives a motorcycle. I think I love Matthew more than Drew and I never thought that was possible. Drew does make some appearances in the book but it's not much. His sister makes some appearance too. I forgot how much I liked her character. Matthew seems to have a better relationship her than Drew does.

I love that Dee-Dee is different than any character I have read about. She is fun and free spirited. She doesn't care what people think of her and I like that. She is dresses crazy and is super smart. She tends to fool people with her clothes and her job. She tends to be difficult at times too but that just because of her past. The past tends to mess people up even if we don't want it too. I wish there were more books like Tamed. Matthew and Dee-Dee are my new favorite book couple.

I loved Tamed and Emma Chase and I seriously hope she writes more books.

Tamed (Tangled #3) by Emma Chase

TAMED goes back in time to the Tangled days. But this time around, it’s not Drew dishing out the advice and opinions—it’s his best friend Matthew, who of course is dealing with Dee Dee.

"It's just so fucking sad!" I blurt out as I gesture to the television. "How can you watch this shit and not want to blow you head off with a twelve-gauge shotgun?"
Dee covers her mouth and laughs into her hands. "The fact that it can make me cry is one of the reasons I love it so much."

It's clear to me why Delores is such a successful chemist - she has such an amazingly innovative mind.
I scrape my teeth over my bottom lip thoughtfully. "I say this is a bet I'm going to really enjoy winning."

Twisted (Tangled #2) by Emma Chase

Twisted jumped right into it. There was no build up or anything like that. It got to the point and I loved that. I didn't have to read pointless stuff to get to the good part. Twisted was from Kate's POV but it still had the spunk that Tangled which was from Drew's POV had. I loved Tangled and still do. I loved getting into a man's head and Drew was pretty damn funny. Twisted still had all that. Drew made a regular appearance and his outrageous remarks were still there.

I loved Kate's best friend Delores. She is one of my favorite characters in the book. She is funny and I love how she says everything that comes out of her mouth. I also loved that she is a true best friend and always has Kate's back. Drew is my other favorite character. I wish every guy could be like him. There is just something about him that I love. I can't put my finger on it. I do however think he can be childish at times but that just adds to the character.

Drew and Kate had a huge misunderstanding in Twisted and instead of Drew acting like the adult that he is, he makes things worse. Kate is heart broken and can't get pass of Drew treated her. She thought they were going to be together forever. Drew thank god comes to his senses and tries to win Kate back. I think Drew needs to grow up a little but I do love his childish ways. I don't see how Kate could get pass what Drew did but I guess she just loves him that much.

I can't wait for the next book, Tamed which is Delores and Matthew's story.

Twisted (Tangled #2) by Emma Chase

Drew is standing in the middle of our living room, his dress shirt unbuttoned, exposing the chest that I've traced my fingers over a thousand times. The warm, bronze skin I love to touch. He has a half empty bottle of Jack Daniel's in one hand. And the other hand is hidden. Buried.

I physically ached for his smile, his scent, his voice.

Imagine a car's going sixty miles an house down a country road and a tree falls and the cars hits it. Boom- instant stoppage. But if the person in the driver's seat isn't wearing a seatbelt? They're still going sixty.

And that's what love is like.

It doesn't just stop. No matter how hurt or wronged or angry you are- the love's still there.

Tangled by Emma Chase

Tangled is brilliant, amazing, funny and a must read. I was laughing right from the start and was wondering where in the hell the author came up with some of the stuff she did. It is your typically love story with loads of banter, steamy sex and chemistry between the characters. It gives a reader insight into a man's head that isn't rouchy but instead hilarious. The book almost felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book.

The main characters Drew and Kate are enemies turned lovers. Drew is a rich successfully playboy and Kate is your typically girl next girl that's trying to make it in a man's world with a kick-ass attitude. The book starts off with Drew dealing with the break up from Kate. It then takes you back to the beginning of their love story and how the fall in love. Towards the end it goes back to present day with Drew trying to win Kate back. It is a love story with a twist.

Kate and Drew meet in a bar where Kate is celebrating her new job. She turns Drew down when he hits on her. Drew goes to work the next and learns Kate is the new employed his dad has hired.  Kate and Drew get thrown together to work on a project together. Drew takes up for Kate when a potential client gets the wrong idea about Kate. Kate and Drew have a heart to heart but Kate ends up leaving with her fiance. Kate's fiance ends up dumping her and Drew tries to help Kate make him jealous which ends up going horrible wrong in a way. Drew and Kate leave the bar together that night and have wild, steamy sex. Drew has never fallen in love until Kate walked into his life. Kate is dealing with the break up from her ex-fiance. Drew is a guy and of course screws things up with Kate. Kate brings Drew to his knees and he spends 7 days sick over losing her. Once he figures that he wants Kate, he spends the rest of the book trying to win her back.

The characters are well written. You can feel the chemistry as you read the book. I finished the book in one day. I couldn't put it down and I didn't want to. I had to know what was going to happen and I loved reading the funny stuff that Drew thought about. I wish I could find a man like Drew. He told it like it was. I was definitely entertain with this book. There are other characters in the book that make it so great. They're just as funny as the main characters. Drew's niece is especially funny for being such a little girl.

I can't wait for Emma Chase to write more books.
