Mr Grey (Fifty Shades #4) by E.L James
What can I say about this book? I was dying to read it and it didn't disappoint. I had always wonder what was going on in Christian's head. I am so glad I got to read his book. It help me understand him so much better. I hope and pray the author writes the other books in his POV.
Christian had a very had life and I loved that the author included little snippets of his past in the book. I loved how he had nightmares and I got to read how his life was when he was younger. It made him the way he is and it only makes me feel that much more sorry for him. Not everyone has the perfect life and the author made sure the reader saw that.
I liked how complete different Ana and Christian were and are, yet they were perfect for each other. Ana brought a different side of Christian out and made him feel. In the other books in the series, Christian seemed cold and distant but now seeing things from his side, I could tell he was confused. He didn't understand why he felt so strongly for Ana in such a short time.
I don't know why so many people hate the book or the series. They're not best but the overall love story is a great story. These two people experienced many of their first together and that's so rare these days. I loved that most about the books. Most people have all the firsts when their teenagers and save nothing for the guy they're gonna spend the rest of their life with. It's almost a waste. I loved Ana and Christian's love story not so much the other stuff.
Craving Trix (The Aces' Sons #1) by Nicole Jacquelyn
I liked this book. It was short, sweet and got to the point fast. But I also had a problem with that. Trix and Cameron have been part of the other books and I have always wonder if they were gonna get together. You could tell they cared about each other in the The Aces Series, but I just didn't know how the author would put them together since there is an age gap.
Trix has loved Cameron basically since she met him. He has always been her best friend. After something embarrassing happens between them when Trix was a teenager, she stops talking to him. It breaks Cameron's heart but he knows its for the best. After several years, things are bad in the club and Cameron decides to stay with Trix even though she doesn't want him too. That's when things heat up. Way up.
Trix and Cameron haven't been a part of each other lives in a long time, yet Cameron moves in with her and in a matter of days they're sleeping together. Cameron says he has always wanted her but I got the feeling like Cameron felt more like her brother in the beginning of the book than a potential boyfriend. Things moved really fast. I would have liked the book to go a little slower. It was like, Trix and Cameron are friends, Trix hates Cameron, Cameron moving in with Trix, Trix and Cameron are together in that order. There was no build up, they just got together and I felt like it was out of left field.
This book was disappointing to me. I was expecting way more than I got. At the end of Farrah and Casper's story when Cameron says Trix is pregnant, I thought Trix and Cameron had some secret romance that no one knew about. I mean them sneaking around would have been a better story than what I got. Don't get me wrong, I did like the book. I love MC books, I was just wanting more of everything to make it a great book like the author's other books.
I definitely hated the drama. There was no build up to it. Trix and Cameron would be laughing and having fun then BOOM, Trix would get mad at something she was thinking about and take it out on Cameron. I expected so much more. However, I will still probably more of the series and pray it gets better.

Amber to Ashes (Torn Hearts #1) by Gail McHugh
Teaser 1:
“Ah, she came,” he says triumphantly. He drops his helmet
and threads his fingers through the fence separating the bleachers from
the field, resting them over mine. “So?”
“So?” I stare into his smiling eyes as I mentally tell my fingers to chill out despite his touch.
“So what’d ya think?”
“I think it’s hot as hell.”
Teaser 2:
I bite my lip and stare at him, my fogged-out brain warped
in every sense of the word. “Maybe I’d be at your place if you hadn’t
decided that kissing me twice without my permission was a brilliant idea.”
“Ah, how quickly you so conveniently forget that you kissed me the last time our lips touched.” A slow smile touches his mouth as he taps his finger against the tip of my nose.
My nostrils flare, his smell of cigarettes and musky cologne nearly stopping my heart.
Teaser 3:
“Christ. Just kissing you fucks me up,” he says with a heavy rasp, sucking on my bottom lip. “I knew you’d become an addiction.”

Black Rainbow by J.J. McAvoy
Teaser 1:
"Jeez, I've never seen him so attached to anyone," she said as she exhaled deeply.
Teaser 2:
"If you take hold of that, you better know what to do with it."
Teaser 3:
"Whenever we're alone, I only have a few minutes, sometimes seconds. We never really have the chance to just talk, so instead, I end up jumping you like some horny teenager. As fun as that is, I still would love to get to know you more."
Teaser 4:
If she kissed me now, she would become a student who knowingly seduced her professor, and if I kissed her now, I would become a professor who preyed on my student. Either way, we were both screwed, so fuck it.

Teaser 3:
"Robin can't fit two kids in the back." I call this to his attention and the shock ripples his face.
"That's not even funny if you're telling me what I think you're telling me."
I turn slightly so I can watch this. "You and Robin are going to need to come to some kind of understanding. You're going to need a new woman."
"Robin is mine and I am hers."
"I thought I was yours," I raise my brow.

Silver Bastard (Silver Valley #1) by Joanna Wylde
I loved Joanna Wylde and her writing style. Her books are perfection. Silver Bastard was a great quick read for me. Once I picked it up, I could not put it down. I had to know what was going to happen with the characters. I had some problems with it but overall it was still a good book and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I love how this series is different than her other series the Reapers MC. It isn't about a MC but a town and the people that live there. I loved all the characters. Joanna Wylde did not disappoint with this book.
I don't remember the Silver Bastard in any of the Reapers MC books but past characters from those book make an appearance in this book and I was a little confused. It seemed like the two MC were close but I don't ever remember them being mentioned. I remember Puck but I didn't know he belonged to Silver Bastard. I feel like I should read the other books again just to see if they're in them.
Puck was hot and sexy. Becca constantly said she couldn't figure out what he was but I think he was hot. He saved her and was madly in love with and didn't even know it. He watched and protected her for 5 years. If that doesn't say love I don't know what does. Becca was a little annoying. She couldn't figure out what she wanted. It drove me crazy. One minute she wanted Puck, the next she didn't. I could only guess how Puck felt with her mood changes. Becca had a habit of over explaining things and that was a little annoying too. I know that's how the character was written but it was still annoying nonetheless.
Puck and Becca's chemistry was crazy hot off the charts. From the beginning that had some serious chemistry no matter how hard they fought it, it was there. Once that got together, they were explosive. They had some very steamy sex scenes. Becca was one lucky lady. Puck was loyal to Becca. He kept her save and he made it known to her how much he wanted her. He was also a little bit of an asshole. He would only think sometimes with one head and it wasn't the one on his shoulders. He didn't care if they were arguing or if Becca was mad, when he wanted it, he wanted it right then.
I didn't like Becca's mom or step-dad or their role in the book but I guess the book needed a plot and drama and that was them. I am glad her step-dad got what he deserved in the end but I wish her mom would have gotten something. She played Becca and let her step-dad treat her bad and did nothing. Becca's mom is suppose to protect and love her but all she loved was her drugs. I don't really like parents like that. And I don't like reading about them.
I can't wait for the next book in the series. I hope it comes out soon. There are some people I would love to read about. Maybe, Danielle or Shane. There were some serious great side characters in this book that would make great lead characters for the next book.

Double Dare (Neighbor From Hell #6) by R.L. Mathewson
I love the Neighbor From Hell Series. I can't get enough of this series. It's one of the best series I have read. I love all the Bradford men and I can honestly say I would have a hard time picking my favorite man. I love their obsession with food and yes it's an obsession. They can't enough of food; it's a little crazy. I love food and eating just as much as the next person but they take their food eating serious.
Double Dare is just like most of the other books in the series. Crazy food obsessed Bradford man. It's funny, hot and has a hint of seriousness to it. Darrin is a hot sexy cop that isn't afraid of a little dare. Marybeth has been around the Bradford boys ever since she was a kid. Their craziness and food loving selves can't scare her away. All the Bradfords love her and consider her family. Some of the past characters make appearance in this book. Mostly, Jason and Trevor and a little Danny.
Darrin is in love with his best friend Marybeth. He has always wanted her even though she's just in it for the sex. I could tell Marybeth wanted Darrin just as much as he wanted her, she was just too in her head. It drove me crazy. I wanted to scream at her and strangle her at the same time. Marybeth is a strong woman. Everything she has gone through since she was a teenager has made her the person she is. Darrin has a fun side and I loved that about him. It seems all the Bradford are funny and love food.
While I loved this book, there was something missing that made it great. The first couple of books in the series were wonderful but with the last couple of books, something is missing and I can't figure it out. I know in this book I didn't like how the sentences just ended during mid sentence. It was annoying. I want to read complete sentences. The book jumped around a little and I didn't like that too much. Double Dare starts with Marybeth and Darrin already hooking up and I would have like to read how that came about. It said how they met and became friends but ended there. Also, Darrin gives Marybeth a choice, get married or they're done and then the next chapter they're married. It didn't say how that happen or anything. I would finish one chapter and the next chapter would be talking about something else and I felt like I missed something. It was a little confusing. The book was said to be read after The Game Plan but I don't think that's really necessary. They are two complete different books that just share some characters.
The next book in the series in Reese's story and I am looking forward to that one. I hope it turns out great like the first couple of books in the series. It does look promising.

Incandescent (Knights Rebels MC #1) by River Savage
I know Incandescent has been out for awhile but I just finally got around to reading it. I always love a good Motorcycle Club book but this one wasn't that good it was mediocre. It didn't even seem like a motorcycle biker book to me. The guys said they were in a club and they all rode motorcycles but that is pretty much it.
It annoys me as a reader when I read a book and the timeline doesn't add up right. It shouldn't bother me at all, it is just a book and not real, but I like the timeline to add up to what is happening. I know some people don't probably care about the time, days, and seasons adding up but I do. For example, (mind you they say what day it is) Kadence spelt with Nix on a Saturday, left his house on a Sunday and then saw him again on Friday for a parent teacher meeting. Then she goes on to say to say it's been 10 days since she last saw him at the meeting and it's a Saturday, which it would be Monday actually. The author does this a lot during the book and it made it hard for me to try to enjoy the book when I'm trying to think what day it actually is.
Also, Kadence is always saying something happen last week, which is confusing, because most of the stuff she is talking about happening, happens weeks before hand. It's like the author got confused at what was going on and what she wrote.
What I loved about this book...
1. The dirty talk. Good lord did Nix know how to dirty talk. I should have been offended by the shit that came out of his mouth or maybe a little embarrassed but I wasn't. I want to meet someone with his dirty mouth in real life.
2. The banter and playful arguing between Kadence and Nix. It was fun, lighthearted and boy did it always turn into something more.
3. The dual POVs. I always love a book that is in both characters perspectives.
4. Holly and Sy. There weird relationship was more interesting to me than Kadence and Nix's relationship.
5. Zayden. He was a great little kid that added a little to this book. I enjoyed reading scenes that he was in.
6. Jesse. He was a huge flirt that was funny. I liked his character. He made the book a little better too.
What I hated about this book...
1. The repeating of everything. I got told and retold of what happening several times and it was pointless. Nix would say how he was feeling in one chapter and then the next chapter that was in his POV he retold how he was feeling before he got to anything new. It was like this the whole book. I started skipping parts that talked about the same things. I don't need a detailed summary of what's happening in every chapter.
2. Although I loved Holly and Sy's relationship, Holly seemed a little boring to me. I wouldn't want her as a best friend. The author tried to make her seem fun and genuine but all I got was boring. She tried to hard to be someone else.
3. Everything Nix did turned Kadence on. The way he talked to his son, the way he played catch with his son, the way he stood still, the way he drove. I mean everything he did was a major turn on for Kadence. It was annoying hearing how much he turned her on every time she saw him.
4. Addison. I think the author put her in the book for the sole purpose to make Kadence look better. I didn't see any other reason she was in this book at all. The author could have easily said Zayden's mom wasn't in the picture and left it as that, but instead she put her in the book and made her a horrible person that caused issues.
5. Beau having a issue with Kadence cause she ditched him while he was watching her. He made it a huge issue and was mad at her the whole book. He's a grown man, biker and in a MC, but he was acting like a little baby. Who cares that she ditched him, she's a grown women, she didn't need a babysitter.
There wasn't anything big that happen in the book or any big issues that caused serious issues for the couple. The book was okay to me, but it could have been a lot better. It had great potential. I am sort of excited to read Holly and Sy's story. It seems way more interesting and I hope it doesn't disappoint me.
